Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 864 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 ball and air pump defective ball does not measure up to the 22 inches as advertised, despite repeated blowing cannot get to more than 19 inches. Air pump is extraordinarily inferior product and broke with second use. I rather pay a little more for a better pump and the correct size ball. August 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by I'm glad I bought it. Definitely more comfortable than any other chair in it's price range. It's not going to build up back and core strength for you without you putting in the intention and work (if you are an inveterate sloucher you can still get away with it), but I find I tend to sit better for longer and enjoy bouncing a bit as I work. I'd buy it again. August 24, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by This product is great for your posture Before I got this chair I was using an old clunky one for work. Sitting at least 6 hours a day was TERRIBLE on my hips and back using the old normal work chair. It was not ergonomic at all. My hip flexors were so tight. After getting this fancy ball chair it took a few weeks to learn how to sit on it without my tail bone not hurting (no slouching, no favoring one side over the other, etc). I LOVE this chair. As someone who has had neck, back, and wrist issues I am very thankful that gaiam has created a work place fix to horrible chair ergonomics. It is worth every cent.  August 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely love it! This chair was easy to assemble and easy to get used to.  Everyone in my office had tried it and we all agree its wonderful.  Can't wait to experience less back pain sitting correctly. August 19, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Chair is too short for my desk The chair is cool up until I set it up to my desk at the office where I now have it sitting without me in it. The chair is too short for using at an office and unfortunately, the description lead me to believe it could be used as such. Other than it being too short it's great, I am just not able to use it. Does it bounce?

One of my favorite things about sitting on the exercise ball at home is being able to fidget and bounce.  Unfortunately, the ball is not high enough for my desk at work so I'm going to buy a base.  Can you still bounce when it's on a base?  (I know this is a weird question!)

Great question! We do not recommend bouncing while on the base, however you can remove the ball from the chair to do so.

I'm afraid that I would buy it and it wouldn't fit under my keyboard tray.

The height from the floor to the top of the ball will be 25-26" depending on how much air you put into the ball.

Ball Deflates

My office has purchased a chair for everyone to try before going forward with purchasing more. Just a question though, we have had the chair in use for 6 days and have had to blow it up 4 times. Is this nomal? Or did we get a ball with a defective seal?

Answer:
It sounds like you have a defective ball! Once at full inflation of 52cm it should hold for 2-3 months before needing more air. Please contact us at customerservice@gaiam.com and we are happy to help!

I'm concerned about the time and effort it might take to inflate the ball.

Answer:
Our balance balls are made of a very strong PVC material and can often times be stubborn. The ball height outside of the base should be 52cm or 20.5 inches. If you only inflate the ball until it is firm it will not be at its full capacity. Continue to add air to the ball until it reaches the 52cm height.
