Our Energy Balance Yoga DVD is inspired by the energy of the elements: earth, wood, metal, fire and water, and their relationship to the energy of different times of the day. With this practice, you will feel more alive and centered in the morning, strong and creative during the day, and calm and relaxed in the evening. Internationally renowned yoga instructor Rodney Yee guides you through five practice sessions following the cycles of the Earth from sunrise to sunset. The absence of verbal instruction combined with powerful yoga postures practiced along the shores of Maui Island help you connect with the energy around you, whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner looking for new inspiration. Total run time: 70 minutes.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent DVD Rodney Yee is always a great choice. This DVD measures up to all his others that I own. It is a bit different because he does not give direction and therefore, some yoga experience is required before using this video. The video is a pleasure to simply watch, the scenery is beautiful as well as the yoga workout itself. You won't be disappointed. April 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by my favorite I bought this in a tape format and when CDs came out bought it again. i love it, its my favorite. I like that it doesn't have instruction more peaceful, lets your mind stay focused with out all the chatter. I use other cds when I need more help. I love you can mix and match. I probably use the morning one the most as its a great way to ease into other Yoga CDs. I have CDs by other instructors and Rodney is my favorite. his voice is perfect I find some other instructors their voices get on my nerves. LOL not good for relaxing and focusing the mind. Buy this one you won't regret it. Oh I would say the standing back bends are a bit much for me, but i just do other poses during that segment. Its all good. February 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of my favs! I love Rodney Yee's dvds, and this one is absolutely my favorite. It's not extremely challenging, but it is a great yoga dvd. Somedays i wake up wanting to do this workout. I love the simple direction of just naming the next pose. Somedays i will combine it with other Gaiam work outs or cycle and then do this dvd. Very energizing most definately one u need to add to your collection! July 16, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Didn't use it as much as I thought Hi, I bought this cd because I do yoga frequently and missed going to class. While the flow was nice, the positions were not all achievable for me! So I would tell the prospective purchaser to beware of that element. Back to Hatha for me. January 15, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Definitely Energizing Some days I actually crave this workout. The awakening segment loosens tight muscles in my hamstrings and lower back and prepares me for the rest of the workout, which is choreographed meticulously. (Sometimes I just do the awakening segment before a walk as a warmup.) This isn't for someone who needs instruction in the poses. I like the fact that Rodney simply says the name of the poses, because I can concentrate on my alignment and breath. I love Rodney Yee, and this is my new favorite. September 26, 2009

Answer:
they are five seperate ones, but as one ends the next one starts automatically so you can easily flow right into the next one. You can pick and choose, but you can't mix them automatically but its easy to hit "skip" on your remote to go to the next one. Each work out varies in lenght. i'm OCD I actually figured them out and wrote a note i keep in my CD I think the longest is maybe 20 mins. So if your looking for a good 30 mins or more workout you will have to do more than one.

Answer:
They are all part of one larger complete workout, but if you do the entire dvd it's great. Or you can do parts of the dvd and combine it with other dvds or running or cycling.
