As I am suffering from Sciatic nerve pain, I expected this DVD to help me become a healthier me. The are too many props needed, to have at your disposal to use this DVD.The timing is fast and does take into account, those who must move slow due to back issues. This class would be better suited to a yoga studio.The DVD does not allow you to fast forward or rewind to specific poses as they are (linked )categorized by sections , not poses.This may be a good DVD for those who want to strengthen a healthy back,
alas for me this was a misleading purchase.

I love Rodney Yees other workouts, so after I developed two bulged disks in my lower back, I picked up this dvd. It covers all the stretches my physical therapist assigned me, but has the calming effect typical of a great yoga session. Without the distraction of a classroom I can really listen to what my body is telling me and not overdo it.

I ruptured my L5 disc and had surgery, but the slightest thing could aggravate my psiatic nerve & I also had developed bursitis in my hip. I was in physical therapy for 3-4 weeks at a time, about 4 times a yr. This went on for 4 yrs until my neurologist recommended this DVD. I couldn't do it all at first, but over time I could do things I couldn't at first--painfree. By doing these stretches 3-4 times a week I have almost alleviated my pain & stiffness. Buy it, try it!

Enjoyed the DVD. Would like to have an introduction that included a list of all the props needed for the session. Had to keep stopping the DVD to get props. Otherwise liked program.
