Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great DVD I loved the different work-outs available for different sports, and the relaxation at the end is wonderful! This is my favorite running cross-training method! January 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Video So Far I recently ordered this video after completing my first marathon. I am one of the least flexible people on the planet and know that if I built more balance and flexibility, that it would help my running and my likelihood of injury. I haven't seen improvement in my flexibility/range of motion yet per se, but I definitely feel less sore after runs using this video twice a week. It provides nice stretching and a relaxing experience. February 10, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Hip Opener This routine is excellent for both experienced or beginner athlete. Reduce injury along with opening hip, chest and hamstrings. No yoga experience required. I've been teaching martial arts for over 20 years. This routine has significantly improved the quality and height of my kicks and helps me maintain my overall flexibility. January 4, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rodney is the best! My favorite for flow, instructions, and keeping pain free. There are several sessions to play individually in this 1 DVD each designed for your specific sport or you also have a choice of a combined session which is longer and more powerful. Good tape for any level if you want to stay stretched out and in balance. Modifications for poses are explained. I'm an avid tennis player and this keeps me on the courts. November 14, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by great yoga session I have had this dvd for over 5 years and it is still my favorite to do, I have other yoga dvd's but the reason I like this one so much is because it is so flowing. I also have the power yoga w/rodney, and that one is really hard, I keep having to hit pause, suck water and wind. My sports are skiing, mountain biking and golf. March 15, 2009

Length of workout

I am looking for a yoga dvd that will be an intermediate vinyasa flow for 60-80 minutes.  The information on this dvd says it is 60 minutes.  Is that straight yoga or is in broken up into 20-30 minute segments?

Answer:
This DVD is broken up into shorter segments. The only DVD that we have that I would consider an intermediate flow is Kathryn Budig's Authentic Flow segment on her Aim True DVD which is 45 minuets long. Sean Corn's Detox flow has a 60 minuet segment on it but I don't think it's as challenging as Aim True.

The list of recommended items for the Yoga for Athletes DVD includes a brick and a strap. Is one brick sufficient? And what length strap is recommended? 6 or 8 ft?

Answer:
One brick is enough. You can use either length 6 ft is plenty long for this DVD but if you have an 8 foot strap already it will still work just as well.
