Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by asting results I'm extremely busy and in my mid-thirties. I'm at a stage in my career that has led me to go long periods without doing much at all for exercise (other than walking to work). But when I am ready to get in shape, I ALWAYS start with this video. Immediately, I feel stronger and more energetic. It can take several weeks (6-8 for me) to see much difference at the scale, but once the pounds have come off, they tend to stay off even when I backslide for a couple weeks. I would especially recommend this for someone who wants Yoga/Pilates type benefits presented in a gentle way. I'm not a doctor, but I imagine this would be great for someone who lacks strength or flexibility for whatever reason. It's good for balance too. Love it! March 3, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just getting started I just got Suzzanes DVD and after watching it I tried to do as much as I could. I felt like a pig on roller skates. After the 1st attempt I feel more toned already. This will be a really funky experiment. I will continue to progress in the program. Thank you. February 6, 2011

Hi,
I am trying to keep track of my fitness goals, and I would like to know how many calories on average would be burned if all sections of the video are done back to back.

Thanks!

Answer:
Calories burned during exercise will depend on several factors. Your weight, gender, height, and heart rate will all influence the amount of calories you burn during this exercise. For the most accurate measurement, we recommend wearing a heart rate monitor. Calories burned during this video can range anywhere from 150-400.

I purchased your Gaiam VHS version of 'Balance Ball Abs Workout with Suzanne Deason, (Shape, Strengthen, Tone)' some time ago. Now everything is geared for DVD, and I want my workout tape on DVD too. Will it ever be available again?

My mother has a delicate back, but wants to get into shape. Would this product be too difficult for her to use?

Answer:
What I love about this video is that it offers Yoga type strengthening but with the added support of the ball. I would think that for any beginner that would be a big help. I would recommend this to my 65-year-old Mom who is maybe 25 lbs. over weight but otherwise healthy. So if her doc wants her to exercise, I'd say "yes" your mother should give it a try.

For specific medical advice, diagnoses, and treatment, please consult your doctor. The DVD's can be returned even after viewing so the best thing to do is to have them review it.
