Rated 5 out of 5 by Cleaner your Water Distiller It works faster and better than vinegar. The container lasts a long time, using it about every 3-4 days. I make about 2 gallons of water a day. I live in AZ where the water is not very hard, but it is easier to keep it clean, than get it clean with too much deposit in the bottom. I use very hot water and 2 heaping Tablespoons and do this before I go to bed. It is clean in the morning. Just pour it out and rinse. I also leave a postem by the distiller to remind myself so I don't use that water to distill. If you do, just rinse everything out and wash the plastic water bottle with soap and no problem. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent I have owned my water wise machine now for about 2 years and I love it. It makes the best tasting water. It is worth the monesy as it will pay for itself in a short time. January 30, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cleans Waterwise boiler well I have a Waterwise 8800 Distiller and had been using the kinds of descalers that are recommended for coffeemakers. That got rather expensive. I finally broke over and ordered Kleenwise which is a much better value and cleans very thoroughly. I have found that I do not have to use as much as the label recommends in order to get all of the mineral buildup dissolved from the boiler. October 26, 2009
