Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Workout Pleasantly surprised by the routine. You can feel results. The trainer is easy to understand and follow. The set is clean and inviting. Love Valerie, but I wish she'd be a little less self critical and a bit more quiet. I tune her out if I concentrate on what I'm doing. Recommend for a quick in house toning workout. February 13, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not up to par I purchased this video approx. 1-1/2 weeks ago. I was disappointed with the content. I will say that it is a very easy workout for beginners. I did not care for the camera angles. The majority of the shots were focused on their face/chest, rather than on the lower part when doing their exercises. The music could have been more pleasing as could have been Valerie's comments (she complained) during the workout. If you are going to put your name on a workout video don't have someone else (Christopher) do it for you! His speed on repetitions varied also. Slow to fast. I guess I have spent $10 in worse ways. Two thumbs down :( February 11, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by Sorry Val I am pretty fit, but was looking to tone up a bit for my upcoming vacation. I couldn't have been more disappointed. The trainer hardly kept count, Valerie was off beat from what the trainer was doing & to tell you the truth I was annoyed by Val's whining about how tough it was. Wish I could have my $10 back :( January 27, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good purchase The first week I did the 20 mn workout I was extremely sore! I'm on my third week now & am feeling stronger and more balanced, & the soreness is gone. You can modify the exercises and add light weights for the arm portions. It's a good dvd if you've been away from exercising for a while and want to get back into a routine. 20 minutes a day is very manageable. After my fourth week I plan on moving on to the 40 minute level. January 26, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hard workout Definitely worth the purchase. I thought the 20 minute was pretty easy so I bumped up to the next one and oh my goodness I was sore for 4 days. Thank you Valerie for this great workout! You will get a great workout on this dvd. January 19, 2010
