Love this clothes dryer. The metal pipe that was supposed to be hammered into the ground didn't work in the rocky Adirondacks. My husband dug a hole and sunk a 3' length of 2" PVC pipe and backfilled it with gravel to hold it in place. The black plastic piece that fits into the included metal anchoring piece (that we destroyed) also fits into the PVC pipe. The clothesline still turns to catch the breeze and it is solidly anchored in the ground.

I purchased this after searching to replace my old clothesline. Other clotheslines were small & poorly made; they felt like they might last one summer. This clothesline is big & sturdy. It is not heavy; I can put it away after using it.

My college-aged and energy conscious daughter talked me into buying this umbrella clothes dryer after buying a water and energy efficient washer. We just couldn't contemplate using an energy-hogging dryer. I am so glad I did. The set-up was relatively easy (we did use a sledge hammer), and the umbrella clothes dryer seems stable. It turns easily so hanging clothes is not difficult. I am so glad to have this product and highly recommend it. Added bonus - clean and fresh smelling clothes and linens! You can't beat sunshine and a nice breeze.

I love this product! I ran out of clothes pins before I ran out of space to hang clothes! Well made, easy to assemble... So much better than my previous clothesline that hung from my house to a post! I love it!

We've had this up in our backyard for years now, and it's still in great shape. Holds a lot of laundry, strong, well-made. My only problem has been that when I have forgotten about the laundry for a few days it can get sunbleached, whereas if you dry exclusively inside that won't happen - but this is not the fault of the product, just the user. I'm so glad that I have it.
