Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best Purchase I have been looking and looking for a bag large enough to carry my oversized exercise mat and stretch cords. The answer to my prayers. Don't hesitate to get this. It is beautiful and easy to carry. THANKS SO MUCH!! November 2, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bag! This is a very roomy bag. It fits all my essential for each class easily. January 30, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely wonderful I have purchased several bags in the past but this one is the only one I use. It is spacious inside, I can put my water, shoes, mat, mat towel and yoga strap in the main part. The pockets provide a space for my hair clips, headbands and other misc small items. It also washes up easily. It is my main carry all. January 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what I needed The space is perfect, as are the closing magnets and the interior and exterior compartments. Everything you need fits perfectly.  I would like to see more colors because white will eventually get dirty. The inside material is more plastic which makes sense but it makes it a bit dificult to get the mat in since ist plastic against plastic. Its a minor comment. September 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 Love! I was hesitant to get a mat bag, but when I saw this one - I knew I had to have it. It holds everything that I need, and it keeps my mat protected from both my cat and my 2-yr-old. It's sturdy and has openings and pockets in just the right spot to handle my needs. I'm so glad that I finally got this! January 19, 2013

I was just wondering because I ordered the Tree of Life 3-piece kit & wanted to know what the inside looked like, since it's not shown in the photo. Is it the same color green as the mat or is it just white/ivory?

The bag is super roomy. A 3mm mat and a towel that is rolled up should fit no problem. plus with the open top and snap closures, there is much more forgiveness than other bags.

Answer:
It probably would. I get my mat, water bottle, sneekers, shorts and a tee shirt in the bag. Also, there is an outside zipping pocket that holds my keys, wallet, and cell phone.

I tried this to answer your inquiry. Both items fit, but snaps just barely closed and so bag could open up more easily--but both items did fit. But, if you rolled the towel around the outside of the mat, I believe it would fit better. Of course, mat and towel thicknesses matter too.

Answer:
It' hard to say without seeing how thick your beach towel is. I think if you were to roll it around your mat it might fit. However I don't think it would fit folded up in there and still be able to close. I do think you could make it fit with the towel folded if you don't mind the bag being open like a cloth shopping bag.

I need a bag that will allow me to comfortably carry a mat and also the shoes and weights that I use in my cardio & strength training classes. I use two 10 lb hand weights and also sometimes 5 lb leg weights.I can lift and haul around the weight myself OK, but I'm ripping through the bottom of the all cotton bag I've only been for the last week. Thanks!

I don't think this one bag will fit your needs, probably need two bags, one sturdy bag for your weights.

Answer:
This bag is quite sturdy but may not be roomy enough. I roll up two mats and my bag is full. So it might depend on how big your shoes are and how thin your weights are.

Answer:
I would not recommend this bag for carrying 20lbs+. I would think carrying that much weight would be tough on any bag. It would probably be fine for carrying a mat plus the 5lb leg weights though. It is a sturdy nice size bag.
