Rated 4 out of 5 by Teak Bath Stool I bought this bench for my husbands fathers day present. It will look wonderful in his shower in our new home. I was a little disappointed in how rough the stool was, especially the seat, but he feels he can sand it down a bit to make it smoother. We will treat it with teak oil as well. I love the looks of this stool as well as the sturdiness of it. I may order another to use at my vanity. June 20, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Well made I purchased this for our new shower and was very pleased on how well it was made. We gave it a teak oil treatment and it really brought out the true teak wood grains. It looks beautiful. We were surprised how quick it was shipped and arrived in great shape. May 17, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! My husband and I both use and love the teak bath stool. I love the fact that I can sit down and shave in the shower. March 17, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love my shower seat I recently completed a major bathroom renovation. I needed a shower seat that would compliment my design, fit well in the shower and be comfortable. My new teak shower seat is all that and more. Now I just need to know how to treat it to keep its' original look! March 11, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stool but it has changed from original I bought one of these stools last year and it was very elegant and refined. It has been sanded smoothly and was very nice teak. I ordered a second one recently and was shocked to see what showed up. The new one is taller, much heavier and extremely rustic. It is not smooth or refined or elegant in any way. I like the new one in a totally different way but be warned - the new ones are not the same. I'm not even sure the new one is teak. In attached photos- old on left, new on rt, seat top of new.
