Rated 2 out of 5 by Not as good as I thought Although I love the design, I have to admit I was rather disappointed with the item itself. I use it to carry a Gaiam yoga mat, a thinner model, and it basically barely sits inside the velcro enclosures. They are made way too big for a single mat, even one made by the same company. Rated 4 out of 5 by Too short for a yoga strap I'm 5'4" and the strap is too short for me to use as a yoga strap. I would recommend that you actually not use this as yoga strap at all (and remove that from its description), since you would have to hold the velcro enclosure loops to get any kind of necessary length (the shoulder strap part measures about 2 feet). It can be awkward. I've heard it recommended that your yoga straps should be at least 6' to accommodate most yoga poses. The velcro enclosures are made to handle a large bundle, so I imagine that a strap and a blanket would be perfect rolled up in your mat for this. With just a mat, the velcro just barely matches up, leaving a bit of extra length. January 22, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 An excellent compromise I always forget to grab my strap and hate carrying a bag, thus the sling is an excellent compromise. The sling is well made and works great for carrying. However, I am almost 6-feet tall and it is tad short as a strap. Furthermore, it would benefit from a buckle to adjust carrying length and in order to form a loop. September 12, 2008
