Rated 2 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too Slippery The colours and pattern on this mat are lovely, and it's thick enough that it cushions, but not so thick that I sink into it. That said, I had a terrible time using this mat. It is so slippery that as soon as I started sweating even a little bit I slid around the mat, making it very difficult to do any poses at all. My hands and feet were unable to grip the mat after only a few minutes, and I had to end my yoga workout early because I simply couldn't stay balanced. September 13, 2013

I noticed the flowers seem to be approximately where I need to place my hands and feet for a lot of positions.  Is this on purpose or just a happy coincidence?

The design on this mat was created for decorative purposes. I would consider it a happy accident that your hands and feet align with the design!

The dates are not always accurate on this Q and A system because I certainly answered that questions longer than a year and 8 months ago. They are 6P Free we made the switch about 2 to 3 years ago but at the time that I answered the inventory may have been mixed with mats that were made prior to the switch since that design has been around long enough. Everything we have now in our PVC mats are 6P free. I recently picked one of the tree of life mats up for my Dad and the label said 6P free when it arrived.

If it's not P6 free does Gaima have any intention of having Sublime &/or Tree of Life designs made using the 6P free formula?

Answer:
I do not typically recommend washing your mat in a machine because it can damage it sometimes. I usually suggest washing your mat with very diluted soapy water (we are talking a couple of drops to a serving bowl, or bucket of water). I like to use dish soap as it seems to work the best. Avoid putting soap directly on the mat because it can be really difficult to rinse it when you wash it that way. Wipe the mat down with your mixture and then rinse and allow it to dry over a rail or clothes line. If you wash your mat a lot I recommend using our yoga mat wash as it as essential oils in it to help keep your mat from getting brittle which sometimes washing it a lot can do.
