Rated 3 out of 5 by Lloyd I'm not very happy with this product.
I'm a senior citizen and like many others, am afflicted with dry, itchy skin, especially in cold weather. I was trying to buy some soft towels & washcloths, but I find these to feel rather coarse and, well...scratchy. Also, I failed to note that these, unlike most towels, need to be dried at "low" heat. I assume having washed them with other "regular" terry cloth towels is what resulted in a marked shrinkage, especially notable in the wash cloths. And who wants towels that have to be sorted from the rest of similar items when doing your laundry?!

These were so disappointing. I bought them because I had family visiting for Thanksgiving and wanted to get really great towels for their stay. From the picture they look unbelievably thick and luxurious, but in reality they are very thin and light. Cheap looking and more importantly feeling.

I ordered only two wash cloths to try. The brown is lighter than it appears online so did not suit my purpose. These are a little thicker than I like for a wash cloth, but the towels are probably very nice.

Not what I was anticipating. The picture looks like the stripes are vertical and much closer together than they actually are. There should be a picture of these hanging from a towel rack. I was hoping for a more luxurious, dense towel with vertical stripes closer together. I will be returning them.

I bought 2 sets of these towels to replace my husband's 12 year old Gaiam Organic towels that were starting to show some wear (12 years is a long time to use towels in my experience). He says the towels are wonderfully absorbent and soft. (Note: We didn't throw out the old towels but use them to dry off our canine friend, Sheba, after baths and playing in the rain. Still going strong.) Yes, I thought these were expensive for towels, yet if you divide the uses over time by how many years they last, it comes down to about $5 a year for the whole set (bath sheet, hand towel, and washcloth). Highly recommend!!
