Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for Postpartum I have done Shiva Rea's prenatal and love this one just as much! It is broken into 3 workouts and I was able to start the first section of this video at 6 weeks postpartum c-section. I am now doing the full 1 hour workout at 9 weeks and it is the perfect way to get back into shape. It's slow and gentle stretching but poses allow for more intensity if you want to go deeper into the stretches. I especially like the postures for regaining core strength and stretching out sore shoulders and back from breastfeeding. Since I don't have time to make it to the yoga studio anymore, this is a wonderful way to get a quick workout while my baby is napping! November 4, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good purchase I really enjoyed this dvd and practice it a few times a week. It has not gotten boring at all. I feel I am really working my body after giving birth, but it is not too difficult. My only disappointment was that is does not include the baby in the practice as I had hoped. October 26, 2009

Answer:
Generally, it is recommended that women wait about six weeks to start exercising after they have given birth; eight weeks if they have had a cesarean. However, some women can start exercising before this. Listen to your body and wait until you feel ready. When you decide to start an exercise program, discuss it with your health care provider first.

I am already 7 months postpartum and am unsure if this DVD is already too easy for me. Is it recommended for mothers this far postpartum or would it be better to order Shiva's regular yoga dvds?

As with any workout program, we recommend consulting with a doctor before proceeding with the workout. In your circumstances, the Postnatal DVD may be a good way for you to ease back into your yoga practice.

Re; DVDs

Hi there

Will your DVDs play on a DVD player in the UK?

I know that there used to be a PAL/ NICAM problem but I need to know before I order one of your products.

Many thanks
