I know nothing about Yoga. Lets just say I have Netflix and I rented many other Yoga videos before I got to this one. This is the best yoga video out there for beginners so worth the money and time. I love it! It takes you step by step and you get to pick which position you want instruction on and if you dont need instruction you get to pick what kind of workout you want. I love that its so flexible and instructional not just a gimmick to make money this is a REAL YOGA INSTRUCTOR its like having a teacher in your own home

I'm one of those people who are too busy to get to a gym. I randomly decided try to yoga and since i've started I can't get enough! This video is great for beginners!

I am enjoying using this DVD, but I wish it showed how to use a yoga strap and blocks for those poses that I'm not currently flexible enough to do!
I liked the instruction included for many of the poses regarding breathing, and also the "what not to do" parts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by edgar Years ago I tried yoga and felt like it wasn't doing anything for me. Now that I am 57, my muscles are becoming less flexible. Using Yoga for Beginners makes me feel like I'm getting incredible results; my muscles more flexible and relaxed. The instructions anticipate incorrect incorrect poses by telling what most people do wrong. It helps to perfect the pose and get the most out of it. I think it's great!

I had tried yoga classes a few times, but had always been frustrated by not knowing exactly how to perform the poses properly. Sometimes I could tell that something didn't feel right, but wasn't sure how to fix it... and in a big class, the instructor doesn't have time to adjust everybody. This DVD was the perfect solution for me. The pose guide went at a great pace and showed me how to make sure I was in alignment, and the two brief workouts are so quick that I never feel I don't have time for them, yet they definitely make me feel good. I'm going to buy another DVD or two with longer workouts to supplement this one, but for the real beginner or someone who is intimidated by the thought of starting a practice (like me!), this DVD is a great solution.
