Rated 5 out of 5 by Really relieves tension! But I have a question. I LOVE this!! So far, I haven't tried heating or cooling the ball, but it definitely helps with tension. I've used it as shown in the exercise guide for my mid- and low-back and all over my legs. For my upper back/shoulders/neck, I put my head up on some other props. At the recommendation of my massage therapist, I've also draped my neck/head over the ball to relax the back of my neck and shoulders. I don't roll my neck on it; I just lie on trigger points. This really helps relax the neck/scalp tension that lead to migraines. My question is this: In the photo, the ball is completely round. Mine is a little concave in one part. (It will sit flat in one place.) Is this deliberate, so it won't burst when I lie on it, or should I pump it up some more? I can easily roll on it with my body on it, but for smaller parts (feet/calves), it sometimes get stuck on the flattened side. May 1, 2014

Answer:
To make the Hot/Cold Trigger Point massage ball hot, you place in a warm water bath or simply run under warm tap water. Boiling water should not be used with this massage ball.

Answer:
Certain muscles may be tender when using massage products. If the pain you are feeling is too intense, or becomes too much, we recommend that you reduce frequency and duration of usage.

This ball is designed to adjust to your desired firmness. You can use a needle point pump to add air. It is up to you how full or firm you would like it to be!

Answer:
If air or gel is escaping from your ball when you are using it, you should return or exchange the item. The Hot Cold Massage ball is made to be adjustable in firmness. Air can be added by using a needlepoint pump. If air is escaping however, please contact Customer Care at 800-482-3747 and we are happy to assist you in returning or exchanging the item!

How do the 05-59578 and 05-60558 balls differ?  Both are priced at $14.98.  Are the textured therapy ball and the trigger point ball the same size and construction?  No size is specified for the orange Restore kit balls, but the green trigger point ball is 6" and both are hot/cold capable.  Is the 2 ball Restore kit being replaced by the 1 ball trigger point ball?  Are they intended for different purposes?  The Restore kit erroneously refers to the massage guide for the massage roller "stick".  Does the trigger point ball have a ball-specific  exercise guide?  Is there a downloadable option for it?

Answer:
The orange massage ball is much smaller, to get into smaller and more pinpoint muscle groups. Neither product is phasing out, and they are both hot cold capable. If you are working with larger muscle groups get the green ball, if you need pinpointed areas, get the orange ball. There is a downloadable massage guide for the orange balls but not the green balls.
