Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed I got this DVD thinking it was to help with the CORE. The description says it is 75 minutes and it is only 46. Although the information is good, I do not feel it gave a workout at all and will not be using it. I am not an advanced Yogi by any means, but this was VERY VERY Basic and just not at all what I was anticipating. I have several other DVD's and LOVE his style of teaching but this DVD just was not one of the better ones in my opinion. July 30, 2014

There are 5 segments to Rodney Yee's Core Centered Yoga that are suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners


Lower Balance (15 minutes) Rodney introduces the concept of opposition, explaining how a slight rotation in the legs can help you get more benefit from yoga poses.

Back Balance (7 minutes) Rodney uses the opposing actions of arching and rounding the back to find better balance and relieve back pain.

Internal Balance (7 minutes) Using several different poses and twists, Rodney shows how to maintain internal equilibrium.

Bending Balance (8minutes) Alternating between opening the chest and back, Rodney demonstrates how to achieve better posture and body alignment.

Restorative Balance (8minutes) In this section, Rodney teaches the opposition of relaxing the body while keeping the mind alert.
