Rated 4 out of 5 by The DVD might help I've been getting a pretty good ab  workout with this and it is easy in the back. It also increases range of motion to a situp which is great for the back.  The DVD that came with is was damaged.  Giam is going to replace.  Maybe once I have some guidance I'll like it even more! Rated 1 out of 5 by Won't inflate properly Wish this would have worked as I it would have been a great addition to my pre- and post-work out regimen. However, the "ball" won't inflate all the way. Seems as if the pin on the pump and the inflation hole are mis-matched. Should have read the other reviews before purchasing. I'll be returning this. October 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great therapy ball - cheap pump! I really liked using this ball , however the pump it comes with broke after just 1 use. When I examined the pump a bit closely I saw that it's made out of the cheapest material you can find. While I appreciate the convenience of having the pump included with the ball, if this is the quality you are planning to have, my advise is to exclude the pump from the package all together. Or if you need to increase the price of the ball by $1-$2 to improve the quality of the pump, than do so but for heaven's sake don't include this joke of the pump with the ball! It is very frustrating to attempt to inflate the ball only to realize that the pump is broken after 1 single use. I can guarantee that users will be less dissatisfied with the ball knowing that they are not fulled into believing that they get 'a deal' by having 'a complimentary' toy-pump included with it. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for any health level In my family, we all work desk jobs and we're not really "sports" types so working out is not a main lifestyle focus.  My mom, my brother, and I have all experienced chronic back pain at times. At 60, 28, and 23, I know we can all benefit from strong core and back muscles to help maintain our posture and support, ease tension, and prevent strain. I picked up three of these little kits for Christmas (yes, one for myself... freedom from back pain=Merry Christmas to me).  Here's what I like: -Commitment is not overwhelming.  You have to find space in your home for this little peanut ball, and literally ten minutes a day to go through a workout.  Just lay down a towel if you don't have carpet, and do the exercises in your pajamas. -Variety! There are two ten-minute workouts included on the DVD plus one more that you can get online. Each video also has a variety of exercises--they pack a lot into ten minutes so you don't have a chance to feel bored, and you can learn a range of exercises and techniques to eventually build your own routine, choosing the moves that work best for you. -It's great for you. A strong and flexible core and back are a great foundation for all activities, or an attainable goal for previously inactive people.  I've only done each video once but MAN it is a workout!  I started off thinking "Oh this is easy, only ten minutes, I can do this."  Then I moved to "Whoa, I'm feeling the burn and the stretch!" And finally "Wait, ten minutes are over already?" I would recommend this kit especially for those who are reluctant or nervous about being new to exercising, or existing physical problems.  Start small and get great results.  Do each video once a week before or after a brisk 20-minute walk, and you've got a pretty decent beginner's cardio+strength exercise plan at an amazing price! Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality - Unable to inflate - Returning The sides of the ball are stuck together, even after following the instructions to let the ball come to room temperature. With this, can't insert the needle to even try to inflate. Poor quality. Good to check if giving as gift. December 19, 2012
