Rated 5 out of 5 by Cold Foot Rub I needed a foot rub for right now to be cold but by winter I might want it hot.  My feet need to relax they ache at night or did until I started using this  roller. June 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Helps sooth my achy feet after a long day of work I like freezing the roller, then rolling my foot on it, really helps the swelling. May 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super cool! I love the cool massage of this roller on my painful heel! March 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful! I've  always had achy feet.  I requested one of these from my sister for Christmas 2014.  I love it!  I feel no need to try it cold or warm.  It feels great rolling it.  But to me, I enjoy it  even better keeping it stationary and rubbing my feet left to right along it. Feels so good! January 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by this works good on plantar fascitis pain I tried this and it does help to relieve the plantar fasciitis pain and relax my feet so I can get sleep at night, I prefer to use products rather than cortizone shots in the heel to relieve the sore feet.   January 1, 2015

Answer:
The best way to heat this foot roller is to place it in a bath of warm/hot water. Boiling water is not recommended, however hot water will heat the roller to the proper temperature.

Many of these items are made with PVC. I want to be assured that this - or any similar material - is not used.
