I love Ana Caban´s videos. This one is slower paced, but still a great workout. I did like the ring, it the cushions give you a good grip and it is flexible. You can do the same exercises as the ones shown on the video, although the video shows a different ring, but I consider this ring to be just equally as perfect for perfoming the exercises.

I use this DVD and the ring every morning! Love it! I'm finally losing my muffin top and gaining strength.

Good workout ,not ready for each excercise so sat some out, but will get there.
Could be streamlined.
The ring is of good quality.

I have only used this ring half a dozen times. It never felt sturdy so I was always extra gentle with it when working out. I was so gentle at times I felt like I was missing out on some of my workout. Well this last time I was being as gentle as I always had been and it just snapped in half. I really enjoyed the guide it provides when maintaining posture for the exercises but it does not provide resistance and it will break if you try to give it any. I looked around for another one to replace it, but the others I have found seem to have the same or similar complaints. Perhaps I am just not looking in the right places or perhaps this is the nature of the Pilates ring. I don't know.

I was really excited when I first bought this kit because it was something new to add to my exercise regimen. I do have to say that I am a little disappointed, though; the dvd was okay, but was short in length. in fact, when the whole exercise came to an end, I was like "really? that's it?" some parts of the dvd were challenging, however, I also agree that the ring is flimsy, so I'll be buying one that has more resistance & is of better quality, especially since I feel like I might break this one. for the chair exercises, I stayed sitting, Indian-style, on my mat, however, next time I will do them standing. this is mainly just for beginners who have never used a ring or as a warm-up for another exercise. I do love Gaiam's other products, though, so don't let the quality of this ring reflect poorly on other products from Gaiam.
