Kathryn Budig is young and fresh and made this workout fun. She's got a great personality and doesn't make you feel intimidated if you are just beginning. It's a great workout and I definitely felt it the next day.

As other reviewers noted, this yoga practice is fun and challenging. It does lean more toward the intermediate/advanced level of practice. Budig offers several modifications for beginners, but you may need to improvise some additional changes depending on your ability level. Her style and disposition is a bit light and perky (at least from a guy's perspective), but this actually makes the practice feel more accessible. Good purchase.

i have, almost, the complete library of Gaiam DVD's and this, by far, is one of my most favorite instructors.she is soft spoken, encouraging, informative and make it a lot of fun. the first half of the DVD is a great intro. for the beginning yogi. the second half is what she calls intermediate. im going to say that it leans a bit more to the intermediate/advanced being that some moves are very challenging ("thriller hands" is REALLY tough). but all in all a great dvd for the money and you are sure to use this dvd for your regular practice ... namaste

One of the funnest at home practices I've tried yet from Gaiam. there is a 30 minute session, which is wonderful if you're newer to yoga or just don't feel like pushing yourself that day, as well as a longer practice that encourages kicking up into some inversions and is incredibly fun to try. The longer one will make you sweat for sure, but you feel amazing by the end of it. Kathryn herself does a very good job of explaining how to get into and out of the poses, the majority of the time I could just listen to her voice instead of constantly trying to look at the screen. In addition to the shorter and longer practices there is also a 10 or 15 minute pose guide that breaks down some of the more challenging poses for you that I found very helpful. Make another please!!

If you love Yoga and want a great and subtle teacher to follow, here she is. This woman is calm and inspiring and there's several workouts. The music is great and so is Kathryn. She is inspiring and fun! Don't let the cover move put you off--
