• Hand wash only. Not dishwasher safe.
• Not suitable for the microwave (risk of explosion), for cooking or for deep freezing.
• Do not use for long-term storage of liquids.
• Bottle can be placed in the refrigerator.
• Your aluminum water bottle and its polypropylene cap are 100% recyclable and can be recycled separately.
• Through normal wear and tear, bottles may be subject to denting. Rest assured, though, that a dent will not affect the functionality of your Gaiam water bottle.
• The exclusive design painted on the exterior of your Gaiam water bottle is cured to ensure durability. If your bottle is scratched or dented, there’s a possibility the paint may crack or flake but this will not affect the functionality of the water bottle. The paint we use is nontoxic and tested to ensure it meets safety requirements.

• The internal surface of our aluminum water bottles is coated with a thin, food-grade epoxy resin that meets U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) 175.300 requirements for toxic elements in foodware. (This lining is neither required nor industry standard for stainless steel bottles.)

• When aluminum bottles are lined (as ours are) there is no risk of aluminum leaching into the bottle contents.
• The water bottle exterior paint meets the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) 16 CFR 1303, which bans lead-containing paint.
