These gloves are very loose with no stretch whatsoever, so when in downward dog they slip and dig painfully between my fingers. Perhaps they would work for someone with REALLY large hands? I would send back but since they were so cheap it's not worth the shipping. Waste of money.

These gloves are poor quality material and not the least bit durable. Similiar gloves of a better quality can be purchased at any major pharmacy store for 500% less. Very disappointed in this Gaim product. Formerly Gaim offered a much better quality product made form a spandex material. I would never recommend this product to my yoga students.

I LOVE these black and pink Super Grippy Yoga Gloves! They keep my hands from slipping off my mat during certain poses and they also just happen to be my favorite combination of colors! I have recommended these to various friends and even my yoga instructor! I truly feel these are essential for any yogi.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BoBeena YEAY! Super Grippy "HoopDance" Gloves!
I was looking for a pair of gloves to wear outdoors when Hooping. I have tiny hands, so I tried some of the kids gloves that have similar grippy niblets on them, but the design was more for fashion than function. These yoga gloves are PERFECTION! It's like a whole palmful of non-skid goodness.
I don't know about wearing them for yoga (which I teach), but they ROCK For Nippy Weather Outdoor Hooping! Maybe they should be linked to the GAIAM HoopBody page?

I bought these thinking they would help me practice at home on my carpeted floors. While they do grip better than bare hands/feet, the gloves and socks slip on my hands and feet and I feel very unstable. My posture in a lot of poses, such as wide leg forward fold and down dog, is not quite right since I have to tense a lot of muscles to keep myself from slipping. These may work for other surfaces, but I would definitely not recommend them for carpet.
