Which Type of Water Bottle Is the Best Choice?

We created our aluminum and stainless steel water bottles to reduce plastic bottle waste. Although single-use plastic water bottles can be recycled, nearly 80 percent (at least 30 billion bottles a year) are sent to landfills in the U.S. alone, according to the Sierra Club and Container Recycling Institute. These bottles aren’t safe to reuse — and plastic is made from petroleum, a non-renewable resource.

When aluminum bottles are lined (as ours are) there is no risk of aluminum leaching into the bottle contents.
The water bottle exterior paint meets the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) 16 CFR 1303, which bans lead-containing paint.
