WALKING FIT KIT BEGINNER PEDOMETER
HOW TO WEAR THE PEDOMETER
Pedometer counts walking or running steps according to movement of the waist. Attach the pedometer at waist level to your belt, slacks or training attire and keep the pedometer in a horizontal position. Attach it securely.
Note:
Improper positioning of the pedometer may result in incorrect data collection.
NAMES AND FUNCTIONS
A. LCD
-Single line display with 5 digits.
B. Mode button
1. Press the MODE button together with SET button to adjust time, stride and weight.
2. Under the time mode, press the MODE button to transfer mode and display in turn:
TIME MODE - STEP MODE - MILE MODE - KM MODE - KCAL (CALORIE) MODE
C. Set button
- Clear step number memory; Start, transfer or end adjusting.
D. Reset button
- If the pedometer has no response to any button operation please press the RESET button to re-start the unit.
E. Sensitivity Adjust button (optional )
To make the unit more or less sensitive to motion, reposition the motion sensitivity slide switch. To determine the proper amount of motion sensitivity for an individuals walking pattern, experiment with different settings.
NOTE :
Once you press the RESET button to re-start, the pedometer will enter a display for selecting Metric standard or English standard, please press MODE button to select, then press SET button to confirm. The display for selecting as below:

HOW TO USE THE PEDOMETER
A. TAKE OUT BATTERY INSULATOR PULL TAB.
B. CLEAR MEMORY
- Enter into the step mode, hold down SET button for 2 seconds to clear step number memory. Otherwise the pedometer will count step accurately to a maximum of 99,999 steps andthen returns to 0.
C. SET WEIGHT AND STRIDE
In Mile mode or Km mode, hold down SET button for 2 seconds, then you can adjust stride by pressing MODE button. In Kcal (Calorie) mode, hold down SET button for 2 seconds, then you can adjust weight by pressing MODE button.
D. MEASURING YOUR OWN STRIDE
An individual’s stride may vary in length. Input the appropriate length by measuring the distance of 10 steps and dividing by 10 to get your own stride length.
Example:
Total walked distance = 6m (20 feet)
Stride length = 6m (20 feet) / 10 = 0.6m (2 feet)
IN METRIC STANDARD,
every time you press MODE button the stride number will add 5. The stride adjustable range is 30cm-200cm. The weight number will add 2 every time, the weight adjustable range is 30Kg-120Kg.
IN ENGLISH STANDARD,
every time you press MODE button the stride number will add 2, the stride adjustable range is 10in-80in. The weight number will add 5 every time, the weight djustable range is 70lb-250lb. If no button is pressed within 60 seconds, the display will change to the previous mode.
E. SET TIME
In time mode, hold down SET button for 2 seconds. You can select hour or minute to adjust by pressing SET button. Press MODE button to adjust the digital. If no button is pressed within 60 seconds, the display will change to the time mode.
REPLACE BATTERY:
Please replace battery when the LCD display is darkening. Take off the plastic panel in rear of the pedometer, then you can remove the old battery of AG13, and replace it with the new one. Please make sure the ( + ) & ( - ) of battery are correct. Finally put the plastic panel back and fasten it.
NOTE:
when the battery is replaced or you press the RESET button, the initial assumed weight is 60kg (or 130lb) and is memorized, the initial assumed stride is 60cm (or 24 inches) and is memorized.
