Reverse osmosis has long been considered the most comprehensive and permanent solution to some specific water problems. The first stage consists of a sediment/carbon pre-filter (5 microns), where particulate matter and chlorine are removed. The second stage is the heart of the system. There the water is forced against a thin film composite membrane which traps the impurities through reverse osmosis. At the third stage activated carbon aerates and freshens the water and sends it into a space-saving 2.1-gal. storage tank. At the final stage a carbon post filter "polishes" the water for the best taste possible. The result is ultra-filtered water on demand in your home.
