These kalamkari pillow covers are handpainted on silk, using vegetable and mineral dyes. Irregularities in color and pattern are special attributes of the hand-crafting process. Zipper closure for easy insertion of a pillow insert (not included). Each pillow cover is made by Dwaraka, a non-profit organization that works to empower women artisans in the Sri Kalahasti village in Andhra Pardesh, India.
