Like the jewel-like tones of a dragonfly, these natural-lacquer boxes take time to develop their reflective surface. Artisans use sap that’s been sustainably tapped from sumac trees and laquer each wooden box with a traditional 13-step process using only water, rock, sawdust and soil. Hand-painted dragonfly motif. Red or black. Vietnam.
