It's "smart" Technology easily accommodates alkaline, carbon-zinc, titanium, nickel metal hydride and 1.5 volt batteries, sensing battery chemistry and automatically adapting its charging parameters for optimum recharging of each and every cell. Simultaneously accepts AAA, AA, C, and D cells in any combination of sizes and chemistries. A built-in indicator gauges the status of each battery. Costs less than one cent in electricity per battery. Uses less than 6 Watts. China.
