I bought this mat at my local sports authority. I do hot yoga several times a week and was looking for another towel for my mat. I couldn't go through a single asana without it moving off my mat as well as me slipping. I shouldn't have to spray it with water, I don't have to for my other towel. It's marketed specifically for hot yoga classes but it's not functional. I have bought several Gaiam products and this is by far the worst.

This towel is awful. Initially, I was thrilled to have the option to use either side, depending on what my practice was for the day. The results were less than pleasing. It, in fact, made me slip even more than I was without the towel. It bunches constantly, and is an overall hazard to my yoga practice. I hate that I wasted so much money on this product.

I have tried so many yoga towels and this is the only one that keeps my hands from sliding forward in downward dog. I have several microfiber ones that are slippery even after I spray them down with water and this one works great from beginning to end of class. I've got 4 or 5 of these and my only request would be the option of a larger size to fit my 85" x 26" mat.

I am very disappointed at this product. I suppose it is meant to grip onto my mat but unfortunately it does not at all. I have to adjust several times during a 60 minute session. Now I am not sure what to do with this towel. Maybe for picnic?

Until the towel was wet it would not stay in place while moving around on it. I have not been in yoga long so therefore am not very limber. My feet would get caught on the edges of the towel sending it in what ever direction. I had to constantly rearrange it.
