Rated 5 out of 5 by I love my gaiam I use it as my computer chair and my neck pain is entirely gone! August 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Effective! Very easy and simple set up! The provided pump blows up the chair quickly and effortlessly. I followed instructions and have finally inflated my chair to 100% capacity. I noticed how I instantly sat up ram -rod straight which hurt my back after 20 minutes. After a week, I could sit all day and it felt weird moving to a regular chair. I love bouncing to music in it and it's great for a stretch! I am not sure why the back support is there, I can't sit back far enough to use it without being obscene. Love it! I use it at work as a means to avoid a too sedentary life style. August 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great alternative in front of the computer If you're looking for a change of pace or just something to work your core while at the PC, give this a try July 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by So happy and impressed! I'll be honest, I didn't think that I was going to notice too much of a difference, but I have. My back problems have noticeably decreased and I have more energy throughout the day from the constant fidgeting.  I really notice the difference when I sit in a normal chair now, which could actually be a downside, but really I just love this chair so much that I can't help but to give it five stars. I love it.  July 23, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by I like this chair I can sit on this ball chair for hours. It took a few tries to get the air pressure right for me, but have not had to adjust again. July 22, 2015

Great question! We do not currently have a chair option available for heights above 6' however we did design the balance disc and balance cushion for this purpose. Either product would be a great option for you. If you need further assistance please let us know!

At this time we do not have different colors planned for the custom fit chair, but that is a great suggestion! We will be sure to bring this to the attention of our product team.

Although we do not have an online manual available, it does include a desktop guide and DVD. The chair includes a pump and the ball needs to be inflated to 55cm. If you have any other questions we are happy to help at customerservice@gaiam.com!

I've never used a ball chair before but am excited to start!  I have lower back pain from split abs due to childbirth.  I do pilates to reconstruct my core and back and would like to keep that health going while I sit at my desk.  Please let me know if you can suggest which of your ball chair better serves lower back and core strength.  Thank you!

Answer:
Great question! As far as functionality and feel of the chair, the Custom fit and the Classic will perform the same. Both are suited for heights 5'-5'11', will engage the core, and help prevent back pain. The only difference is the Custom Fit Balance Ball Chair has adjustable legs so you can change the height of your chair! Measurements are listed below for the height of the chair.

At the lowest setting:
Floor to base = 8"
Floor to top of ball = 23"

At the highest setting:
Floor to base = 11"
Floor to top of ball = 27"
