Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 829 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by interesting but not quite It seems to be ridiculously low, I am 5'8" and find it very low to use at a standard 29" high desk. I could find no reference of larger balls being available. July 2, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by ZERO QUALITY I don't know where to begin. Obviously, Gaiam uses a 3rd party manufacturer for ball chairs  and they slap a sticker on the ball and box and ship it out. Don't get me wrong, I don't really have a problem with that, what I do have a problem with is the COMPLETE lack of quality in what I received. First, I ordered a pump for $6, because my mistake, it comes with one! While I would normally not mind the accidental waste of $6, I do mind that one of them clearly had been assembled and used...and worse yet, to ensure it was included with my shipment (rather then ship it with the separate leg extenders????), someone LITERALLY TORE A HOLE IN THE BOX to shove the extra pump in!!!  My God, and if you think that's awful, that was just the beginning. Long story short, it took me over an hour to put the chair together because NONE OF THE HOLES WERE FULLY DRILLED OUT! Yes, apparently this happens, Google confirmed I wasn't crazy, but that the holes for the back to be screwed in, and that goofy bar that sits in front of the ball were 100% blocked and not drilled out. Now, I do own a drill, and luckily, the appropriate bit sizes, but this is ridiculous that I had to machine my own parts to assemble the chair! If this is the standard of quality to which Gaiam attaches theirr name, I promise I won't ever be purchasing another item. I want everyone to know exactly the kind of inferior product that is sold for luxury brand prices! Unacceptable. July 2, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Feels great on my back. Metal rod broke already. I truly like the way this products incourages good posture. My lower back feels stronger and my back pains have dimenished.  I gave this product 2 stars because I've only had this chair for a few weeks and the metal rod/brace on the front of the chair has broken off. What are my options for replacement?  July 1, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not for me Chair did not work for me. Wheels do not roll easily and I kept hitting my ankles on the base when trying to move. I'm having much better success  sitting on a regular balance ball.  June 30, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by easy to use and like it very much.  Now that I like it and udse it a lot even away from computer I would enjyo arms, too June 26, 2015

Answer:
The Classic Balance Ball Chair base is not adjustable, however much of the height can be adjusted by how much air you put into the ball. If you inflate the ball to the suggested 52cm diameter the seat height from floor to top of ball will be 27".
