These shimmering fair trade scarves are created by Ethiopian women from soft and supremely cozy handspun 100% silk. Dyed with natural pigments and imported by a Vermont nonprofit that helps these weavers escape poverty, each is a unique work of woven art whose name, sabahar, combines the Amharic words for the Queen of Sheba and silk — a fitting tribute given how luxurious they feel.
