Rated 2 out of 5 by Much too fast As a serious student of Iyengar yoga, I found the pace much too fast and I didn't feel like I had the time for proper alignment.  June 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent yoga DVD! This is by far my favorite yoga DVD. I had it on VHS and then bought it on DVD. It is great for increasing flexibility, is easy enough to do for beginners, but not so easy as to be boring if you are more advanced. Highly recommended! July 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great workout This CD is one of the best Yoga workouts I've had. I have back problems and this worked out all of the kinks. April 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by my favorite stretch This dvd is one of my favoritres of all time. It gets used at least once per week and makes me feel great. Rodney Yee is one of my all time favorite instructors for yoga. His voice is so smooth and calm. December 2, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent for stretching & strength builing I feel that my body gets a challenging, stretching workout from Rodney's flexibility practice in only 25 minutes, without being too difficult. Perfect for the days when I want to get in substantial yoga in less time. I feel like I've actually worked my body after this practice. Love Rodney Yee's DVD's! November 21, 2011

Warm up stretches.

Since Yoga is supposed to help with flexibility and posture, do I have to perform warm up stretches before I do the poses on the DVD? Can I wake up in the morning and go right into the routine of poses?

Answer:
I don't personally warm up before doing this DVD, although my hamstrings feel a little tight at the outset. I loosen up as I go along, but if you find warm-ups beneficial, I am sure it wouldn't hurt.

Answer:
Heck yeah. Always. You risk injury and will probably be disappointed in doing yoga. Follow the intructor's instructions and advice. They know exactly what they are doing.

Answer:
You can wake up and do the DVD. Yoga is considered stretching and the DVD will lead you through a series of warm up poses before going into more advanced postures.
