Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 57 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Delicious These sheets are fabulous. They are sturdy, crisp and big - they drape nicely over the edge and tuck in well at the foot. I didn't realize the set included a pillowcase and hadn't ordered any because some reviews said they were small. But, when the sheets came, there was a pillowcase too. It is NOT small. It fits well over a large pillow with some looseness to boot. I want to pass on all of our sheets and replace them with these! March 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Stiff-ish, smooth, cool This is almost exactly what I wanted. Could be a little bit heavier. The coolest (as in temperature) kind of sheet I know of. The stiffness of cotton percale isn't for everybody but it's a childhood memory for me. February 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by love them the organic sheets feel great, i sleep like a baby and I love the goldenrod yellow.  so warm and soothing.  the best and a great price during the holiday season sale. January 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love gaiam's sheets This is the fourth set of gaiam sheets I have bought. They are wonderful. January 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The seam lines are a little off, so the seams don't run exactly down the sides of the pillows. Otherwise, I love the deep color and they feel crisp on my face. January 18, 2015

Answer:
The cotton for the Percale Bedding is removed of color, and then dyed natural. This is a necessity, otherwise there would be too much variation in the color. Organic cotton can range from close to pure white to deep beige/taupe.

Answer:
Our bedding is not treated with any chemicals and are certified organic. Organic cotton can have a pungent odor until it's washed however I haven't had many people complain about that with these sheets however it is going to depend on the sensitivity of the nose sniffing it.
