Learn more about Fari Trade:
Our Long Sunny Days Wall Sculptures are created by Haitian artisans through our fair trade partner Beyond Borders. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, with 80% of the population living under the poverty line. Successful international business relationships are few, partly due to concerns over safety and political instability.

Beyond Borders began representing Haitian artists in 1989, empowering individual artisans to create development opportunities that respect the native culture and foster environmentally sustainable practices. These artists are able to use materials around them in new and inventive ways to create unique pieces of art. Beyond Borders works with dozens of individual artists, many of whom have tens or even hundreds of employees of their own, creating countless new opportunities to earn a fair wage and develop their artistic and business skills.
