Rated 4 out of 5 by sunswirl VERY warm - smells funny
My daughter is allergic to down, so we had to get rid of our beloved down comforters. I was looking for an alternative and didn't want polyester fibers, so I tried this one. The loft is decent (about half of the loft of a standard down comforter) and it is SUPER warm. I was actually surprised. We live in the mountains, so we need something that works! This does the job. I have two complaints with it. The fabric is CRINKLY cotton, so it makes this really sound sound when you move it around at night. One of my down comforters did that as well, so it's not unique to this one... The other problem is that it has a terrible smell - it smells like chemicals and you can't wash this comforter! It's dry clean only. :( I keep wondering if I should send it back, but I'm waiting on a shipment of a duvet cover to see if that helps the smell problem.

This comforter almost seemed too thin when I first got it. But sure enough, as its getting colder, its super warm. But not suffocating. It was light enough to use all summer. And not that its getting cold, it keeps me warm all night.

I bought this about 2 months ago and I just love it! It is very warm and cosy but it doesn't make you sweat. I recommend it very much. There is nothing better than a big fluffy comforter for a Northeast winter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gloria27 A warm comforter!
I was reluctant between the cotton and kapok comforter, however I did not make a mistake buying the kapok one. It is a good quality comforter and it feels not too warm not to cold. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by GreenBaller I love it
It is thinner than I thought it would be, especially since I am used to European down comforters that you can get lost in. However, it is dense and warm and makes up for its thinner quality, with coziness, warmth, and softness. I love it. And its useable in summer and winter alike.
