Rated 4 out of 5 by I like it, but arms don't pivot Overall, I like the bed lounger. It's comfortable and provides great back support. However, I'm not using it as I had hoped I could. I wanted something that I could use on my bed while nursing my baby during the night, but not have to move out of the way. I read under the "Benefits of the bed lounger" that "The flex-arm design allows armrests to pivot in, out, up and down" and thought, perfect! I can move the arms up and out of the way and lay on my pillow in front of it. Not so. Now, unless I have yet to figure something out (I've had it for about two months), the arms absolutely do not pivot up and down as I had hoped, and as I was led to believe they would. They do sort of fold in because the armrests are somewhat flexible, but only in. I'm still giving it a 4-star rating, however, because it is comfortable and I am using it, albeit in a different location than I had originally intended. Also - one of the pictures shows someone using it in the middle of a room without a wall behind it. This doesn't work unless you plan on exercising your abs while you sit; otherwise it will lean backward. It really only works while against a wall. August 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I'm too short! My bedlounge arrived today, and I think I'll really enjoy it, but there's a problem: I'm 5'3" and short-waisted. Even lowering the headrest all the way gives me no real head support, no neck support at all, and no comfort. Also the lowest height blocks the headrest from rotating. A pillow under my bottom helps. Any other suggestions? May 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by A little info Ignore my overall rating and whether I recommend this product or not, as I bought it as a gift and it has not been tried yet. I just wanted future purchasers to know: This is JUST the top part of the bed lounge, even though the product specifications includes details about the leg lounger, as do the pictures.  I happened to think it was both, called to find out what was going on, and when I explained what the website says the "customer service" rep said "We apologize" and hung up. So don't be expecting any help there. December 19, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Soooo Needed This!! I initially thought this would be perfect to use while recovering from a recent surgery as I would be spending a good deal of time in the bed. I love it!! Now I also use it on my couch as well! I love my leather sectional but could not for the life of me get comfortable in spite of using several throw pillows etc. This has solved ALL my problems! Love the adjustable neck holder and having the side pockets is just the icing on the cake! The lumbar support pillow is divine! This is a must have so do not hesitate!!! May 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceeded Expectation I purchased one Bed Lounge for myself and liked it so much I purchased a second one for my husband. It's lightweight, comfortable and adjusts easily for different sized people. Due to my short height I don't need the head rest; it's still very comfortable & supportive without it. I especially like the pockets on the side of the arms - everything stays within easy reach and they fit different sized items. Great for reading, computing or watching TV. April 17, 2012

Answer:
The leg rest should come fully inflated. To decrees the support you turn the knobs on the side until it reaches it's desired firmness.

I cannot get the headrest to support as shown on the photos. I have to slump down to get the head and neck support. If I sit up straight, the headrest offers no support at all.

On mine it is simply a matter of pulling it up or pushing it down. I find it extremely comfortable & I have had neck surgery & still suffer with severe neck problems. I love this product!

Answer:
To adjust it you should only have to pull up on the head rest to the desired height you need. There aren't any levers or knobs that you have to use to release it.

What does the product measure (thickness) if i were to place it on a couch. Do you make a product without the armrests for couches? I need something to adjust a deep couch for a shorter person but can't seem to find anything. This product would work if the arm rest were removed or removable.
Thanks.

I have this on a couch- it works great even with arm rests- which you need for proper ergonomic positioning. Especially if you have a deep couch, should work great!
