Rated 1 out of 5 by Christo Wosrt Gaiam purchase ever
I am a health care practitioner and bodyworker. I have used "Chi machines" before and was excited to purchase one through a company I have grown to trust. The so called "healthy circulation machine" arrived packaged as "the healthy swinger" with an image of a scantily clad woman in lipstick that looked more like a blow-up doll than an image of fitness. The image and title was truly insulting marketing. I also felt in this case, Gaiam's advertised promotion of the product was misleading an non-representative of what's shown on their website.
The product itself felt cheaply made. The plastic foot rest was rigid and uncomfortable. The so-called swivel disk was also a piece of cheap, hard plastic uncomfortable to lie on. The casing felt cheap as well and, at that point, I lost all confidence that the motor would be any better.
I have purchased about a dozen items from Gaiam and have been very pleased with the company. I'm often refering friends to their products, but "the Healthy Swinger", as it is called, is a complete bomb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gypsylavole I love the Healthy Circulating Machine
I have had sciatic problems since 1992, I go to an acupuncture often for relief. I bought a Healthy Circulation Machine, and this is the best purchase I have ever made. It work better on my sciatic problems than the acurpuncturist. Today I have been in alot of pain in my legs and sciatic, I used the machine for 20 minutes and I feel like new, all the pain is gone.

My acupuncturist recommended the chi machine to improve the circulation in my feet and legs (I have MS). Wow! No more cold toes or frozen shins! I've seen similar products advertised, but for nearly twice the cost. What a find!

Rated 5 out of 5 by xxwf great item
My sister has chronic venous insufficiency-had 4 blod clots, also has neuropathy-she loves this machine and she normally is very apprehensive about stuff-but again she loves it-gives her relief from the pins and needles and she elevates the machine to assist in decreasing the swelling. She spends anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour stretched out of the course of the day.

I first experienced a type of this ankle shaking machine at a retreat center, and loved it. The ones I saw advertised were priced twice as much as this one. However, this needs to be on a carpet or mat or it will move around the floor even with your legs on it when on. It doesn't dial down to a really low speed and it is quite noisy. Still, I like the effect of the rocking motion, and since I am a massage therapist, I plan to offer time on the machine to people who are seeking a quick way to refresh.
