We really liked the colors in the post for this duvet cover, only to realize that's the comforter, not the duvet. The duvet is the bland red print on ivory background, under the comforter in the image. Nonetheless, we decided to put it on our comforter but found it so oversized that it hung over the comforter by several inches. We have returned it.

This is not the softest bedding I have encountered. It's rather stiff and a bit "crunchy." Even after months of use and washing, it still feels stiff and hard. The pattern is exactly as pictured, and it otherwise met my expectations, but I sure hope it softens up with time.

I only wish the material was a bit softer that may come with time, otherwise I am very happy with the style and design of the quilt.

If you're looking for a traditional quilt weight - something to use as the primary source of warmth on your bed, this is NOT the product for you. I would recommend Gaiam change the product name to "quilted coverlet" or just "coverlet" as that more accurately describes what this product is. It is the same weight as a coverlet or blanket and provides the same amount of warmth. There is a very very thin, almost undetectable layer of batting inside. When I ordered this, I was expecting a quilt - of substantial weight and warmth. For me, this is not worth the hefty price tag when I can get an organic blanket for under $100. If all that sounds okay to you and fits your needs, the upside is the pattern and color are pretty, I will warn you though that the intense red color will fade to a more heathered red after about 3 washings (following the care instructions). Bottom line is I will be returning this item, I just can't justify the cost since this wasn't the quilt I was looking for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by PatLynn Dissappointing for such a hefty price.
I am so sorry, but I feel compelled to write this negative review. The sheets and pillowcases are oddly slippery and wrinkly at the same time; they slide off the pillows every night. The bottom flat sheet has no print, which is disappointing. The organic cotton sheets I bought from Gaiam last year are much nicer.
