Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing bag! It took me a bit to purchase this bag, since it's rather expensive and the duffel I'm using right now is passable. However, as soon as it arrived I forgot my trepidation! The bag is sturdy, a great size, and full of compartments for organization and storage. And when you put shoes or a sturdy item in the vented pouch, it creates more nooks on the inside for specialized storage! I don't understand reviews that say the bungee cord for the yoga mat is too loose. My mat (3mm thick) fits perfectly and is held quite tight! My only question: What is that shallow, snapped pocket on the front just above the vented pouch for? I can't figure out what to put in it! July 24, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bag The bag is a great essential item; I use it for Bikram Yoga and at the end of a hot and sweltering 105 degree, 90 minute session, its perfect for storing drenched yoga clothes; the various compartments make it a must for organization of all your essentials. The clean, compact, yet roomy design make it portable. The fabric is high-grade and will with-stand years of use. For the price, I think it's a great value and would even make an excellent gift for the yogi or yogini in your life! =) November 24, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this bag! Based upon several reviews on the website, I ordered this bag in purple (my favorite color). I have used it for a few weeks as my primary gym bag and my back-up yoga bag for when I need to carry blocks and straps. It has performed beautifully and fits a ton of stuff. My only hesitation in giving the appearance 4 stars out of 5 is that the stretchy cords at the base of the bag for holding a yoga mat seem a bit thin and may stretch out & sag with a bit with use. I plan on ordering another bag, this time in black for my primary yoga bag - it's that good! November 12, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bag for Therapy Dog work! I am a very petite woman and needed a bag that would not be too bulky and that would hold, well-organized, the various supplies needed to take my dog to schools and libraries for therapy dog work.  While I use a rolling cart to carrying my books and blanket and generally prop this bag atop it when I'm entering and exiting buildings, this bag can be used alone if I'm doing therapy work with my dog in a nursing home setting where I don't need books.  My favorite feature is the deep but slim outside pocket.  It happens to be the perfect size for a plastic document case for letter-sized sheets of paper.  The case, holding all of my vital paperwork, slides right in and out but does NOT fall out.  Anyone who wants to keep a notebook, slim binder, or magazine from getting rumpled will enjoy this pocket. The other snap pocket on the outside is too shallow to be of use, unless you happen to play the drums and are looking for a spot for your sticks.  I love the inside pockets, as I'm able to keep all of my dog's supplies so well-organized that I can just reach in and grab exactly what I need.  I don't use the shoe pocket (or the pocket for wet clothes), but it's nice to know it's there in case I ever had a wet towel to store.  I had been hoping that the bottom strap for the yoga mat could hold a rolled up mat for my dog, but it's not big enough to do so.  I also agree that the top straps slip off the shoulders easily.  That said, I think one would be hard-pressed to find a bag that holds this much, this well-organized, and that does not look huge on a petite woman's shoulder.  The material in black is very professional-looking.  My dog's fur does unfortunately cling to it, but a lint brush takes care of that, and the material does spot-clean well, at least so far.  I've been using this bag since last April and have done about 30 therapy dog visits with it, and it still looks pretty new.  Please do NOT discontinue this bag.   I'd love to see it offered in one or two more neutral colors such as a dark brown or gray.  I can see how cheerful colors are good for the gym, but this bag will attract a wider audience if you offer it in more neutral colors also. Rated 1 out of 5 by Not for commuters This bag may work if you drive a car to and from the gym/studio, but it's not well made for public transit commuters in NYC at least. I was looking for a bag to replace my backpack that had enough space for gym clothes, my lunch, and occasionally a towel and mini shampoo bottles for showering. This seemed to fit the specs, but after using it, I wish I'd chosen something else. 1. The bag is cumbersome - with just a change of gym clothes, tupperware, and a smoothie inside, I don't fit up the steps from the subway when other people are coming down, and can't make it down narrow aisles (I'm not particularly wide, either). The flat bottom folds up but doesn't remove, so then it's hard to fit your stuff inside since it does not fold flat against the side. 2. This bag is heavy even when empty and doesn't stay on the shoulder well - when 3/4 full, it slips off easily and torques it in a weird way, probably because it's so structured. Maybe padding would help, but all I know is my shoulder is sore after carrying it while walking for ten minutes, which affects my workouts. This might be an okay bag for someone who's throwing it in the back of a car with just a magazine inside, but for busy city dwellers trying to eat well and fit in a workout, it's not a good match. It wasn't a cheap bag, and now I have to find more room in my budget for a new bag :( October 21, 2014
