Rated 5 out of 5 by Bio-bags best product I have found yet. We have a large family and the bags hold a lot. Recommend them totally August 11, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by near miss We love the idea of the BioBags, but the reality isn't so impressive. We used the BioBags in our kitchen scrap bucket, and liked how easy it was to empty the bucket into the composter. The bottom of the bag dissolves a bit once it's wet, but hey, you've got to wet down the compost anyway, right? It's easy enough to use some of that water to rinse out the scrap bucket, too. BUT - after using BioBags for roughly six months, the composter started filling up - and we weren't getting useable dirt from it. A year later, we went through the heap and found whole BioBags, some of them many months old. The BioBags shredded at the touch of a spade, but didn't degrade. Don't know why they didn't break down, but once we stopped using the BioBags, the composter resumed making lovely rich dirt. Very disappointing! July 19, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by No more yucky bucket cleaning I love the bags. I've used one per week for the last 4 weeks and none have leaked or started early decomposition so my bucket has stayed clean. As a result I don't mind taking the compost out ... previously I dreaded the inevitable yucky bucket-cleaning. December 22, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Biobags Great way to reduce the mess in your kitchen compost container AND stay green. Just wrap it up, take it out to the bin and you're done. Each box comes with plenty of bags and they hold quite a bit so the purchase is well worth the investment! August 2, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product Very happy with the purchase of these bags. Had been using an old tupperware, in which everything smelled badly. These bags, in combination with a well vented container make in-house compost material collection very easy. January 14, 2010

Your kitchen compost bag dimensions seem too big (17 x 18). The composter is 11 x 9 x 9.

Answer:
You have to take into consideration that you want the bag to be longer than the length of the bucket because the bag is going to spread out as you fill the bucket. You would use the compost bucket size bags 14-9332.

The picture that you have for this product isn't for the kitchen compost bags, it's for the regular kitchen bags. You'll notice that the box picture lists the dimensions of the bags as 24" X 28 " and list a capacity of 13 gallons. Do you carry the product that is pictured here, the regular kitchen bags? Thank you.

Answer:
We do not carry the Kitchen Bags any more because a lot of customers didn't like that they weren't very sturdy for trash. We do have lawn and leaf bags that are 39"L x 32½"W there item number is 14-933.
