by Chels088 Neat customizable chair
It took me about 15 minutes to put this thing together. The majority of the time was spent pumping up the ball and looking for a rubber mallet. The mallet was useful in getting the back bar all the way down before securing it with the hardware provided since it was a tight fit.
I'm 5' exactly, and I easily adjusted the wheels so that my feet actually touched the ground. Unlike the previous reviewer, I don't find it troublesome that my back doesn't rest against the support bar during normal sitting; perhaps that's only because I didn't expect it to in the first place.
The desktop guide is very useful for figuring out precisely how/where to sit on the ball. This is my first experience with any of these balance balls, and I was grateful that the info was right near the front. It also states that the support bar (backrest) is for stability during exercises ONLY.
There are some great stretches in the guide as well. I haven't used the workout DVD yet, but I'm very pleased overall with my purchase!

I have experienced fewer issues with my back and hip joints since I received my chair. I actually find myself doing exercises in the middle of my work day. I have people negotiating on whose going to get to use my chair during my vacations.

I don't like to say anything negative, but honestly, I don't like this chair. It's not that it isn't what it looked like, but it is disappointing. The back rest is farther back than I thought it would be. I can't really lean on it and the ball is hard. I don't want to sit on it and it is taking up space.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JMLY Product was not comfortable
The ball was too small. Overall height of the chair was too low for a 5-4" person. Also, no matter how much the ball was filled, it eventually sunk into the base. I weight 145lbs, so I don't think I am that heavy to push the ball through? Also, the wheels did not move smoothly. I bought the ball chair to replace my office chair, but it just wasn't comfortable enough. Its a great idea, but maybe if you could allow a selection in ball sizes to accommodate different heights and weights? Just a suggestion.

The concept is great. The execution... hmm. I'm 6'1" with a 35" inseam. With the chair adjusted all the way down, it's still 4-5 inches too high at my desk. I put the frame over in the corner and just sit on the ball. The ball (like all of them) is great, but I have no idea how anyone uses the chair without being too high above their desk.
