I purchased this kit in the light resistance level in order to compliment my daily aerobic workout. This level is perfect for me starting out as a beginner, but the accompanying dvd is a bit more challenging for me being as I have never done pilates or yoga. I use the cord to do a workout on my own without the dvd and I really like it. I look forward to moving up to the different levels.

The covered resistance cord with padded handles is very comfortable to use. The included DVD contains three 20 minute workouts (front body, back body and core body), with an option to combine all three for one long workout. I find the directions simple enough to follow and the exercises reasonably challenging, although not so hard to do that I give up. The instructor is encouraging without being annoying; two background exercisers help to demonstrate modifications. The production values are very good and the outdoor backdrop is beautiful. I find the 20 minute segments to be the perfect length to tack onto a 30 or 45 minute cardio workout a few times a week. I'm very pleased with both the resistance cord and the DVD. Two thumbs up!
