Rated 5 out of 5 by great quality these blocks are perfect for my practice! These are strong, reliable, and they don't have the sponge like smell that the other blocks normally have. May 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Blocks! I had purchased a few other blocks over the years and these are the nicest I have used. I actaully keep them out in the living room and often find myself sitting at the coffer table propped up on one. I like that they are natural cork and they feel great, not too squishy, not too hard. Bonus is they look lovely just sitting out :) May 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sturdy and Durable! I really love my Cork Yoga blocks. They are study and very durable. I use them in my yoga classes because they are more reliable than the foam ones. I would highly recommend this product. January 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid, Sturdy I wanted the Cork blocks because of their sturdy, solid construction. Have an alternative block that is a little "cushy" and sometimes beginners want more solid foundation to support them. Wouldn't mind if they were 5-6 inches across rather than 3 inches across, but they are still very effective! Good quality. August 5, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by High quality but heavy The cork yoga bricks are very solid. They are stable and support me in various poses. The one drawback is that they are quite heavy compared to the foam yoga blocks, so they're not as easy to carry around. For in-home use, though, they're great! April 24, 2011

Answer:
We no longer carry the 4" bricks. When these were first introduced we sold them in a thicker size. They are no longer avaliable.

Answer:
One inch really doesn't make a huge difference, either size will suite you. The first ones we offered where made by a different manufacture and their standard size was 4", which is why we went with a thicker size the first time around. However if you are not so flexible you would want to go with a thicker block.

I have arthritis in my hands and wondered if the blocks would help me in a yoga workout. It pains me to put pressure on my hands.

Answer:
The cork blocks are an environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic material. They do not provide more cushioning to the hands or wrists than regular yoga blocks, but using yoga blocks to modify a yoga pose can help with limited flexibility.
