The Compost Wizard Hybrid saves space and money with its 7 cubic foot–capacity rotating composter with a 47-gallon rain barrel. Simply rotate the rain barrel, aerate the compost and release nutrient-rich “compost tea.” The tea is funneled down into the rain barrel where it mixes directly with the rainwater diverted from your gutters to make a plant super-food. The spigot will not accept a standard sized garden hose. We do provide a hose that will fit the barre item 14-0476l. If the rain barrel becomes full the unit will just over flow out the top and drain off the extra fluids (rain or compost tea). The overflow grate is on the top of the barrel.

Answer: 
The composter has holes all over it that allow the tea to drain into the top of the rain barrel. On the "tub" part of the rain barrel where the composter sits there is a reservoir to catch the tea where it then drains into the rain barrel. When the rain barrel is full you can attach a hose to it so you can then spray down your garden. We will have a 50 foot hose avaliable soon.
