Rated 1 out of 5 by Definitely not worth it I bought 2 of these. One for a highly used toilet and one for a less frequently used toilet. Neither one worked. This was a waste of my money. There is absolutely no difference in how frequently I need to clean the toilet. I thought maybe if I kept the product in the toilet longer it would maybe start working, but nothing. Save your money, do not buy this product. September 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by love these I have used these for several years and continue to buy replacements and because I am very happy with this product. They are effective and for me the best part is that there is no "smell" from the product. Before discovering the ChemFree Toilet Cleaner I tried everything else on the market. Bought them and then threw them all away. All of them contained fragrances and smelled up my bathrooms. I am very sensitive to fragrances. With ChemFree Toilet Cleaners there is no odor problem and bowls stay clean. Now the only bathroom smells are from humams - LOL. May 11, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by disappointed This product seems to do nothing. I had high hopes since everything else I've purchased from Gaiam has been great. The mineral scale builds up just as badly with this product as without. I do not recommend this product at all. :( August 25, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bought 2 and they don't work Bought 2 and they don't work. I would not suggest them to anyone. Great idea but still scrubbing. Have water softener so its not the water. December 13, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great toilet cleaner alternative I've had this cleaner for about 4 months now and the difference was noticeable within the first 2 weeks. There are no more rings and I only clean every so often out of habit I guess. Definitely worth the price! February 6, 2010

I know this is gross but I can't train the family to keep the lid down or the dog to use a regular bowl.

Answer:
My dog has been drinking from the toilet with this product in it for about 5 months and she's just fine. I don't think that there are any chemicals in it at all. But since I've found that the product does not work I'm taking it out - just in case.

Answer:
The ChemFree Toilet Cleaner would hurt a cat. It doesn’t add to the water, it just changes the property of the water (like a laundry disc)….so, it’s as clean as your water already is.
