La Vida Verde in Washington

La Vida Verde began when the founders fell in love with a single Costa Rican rocking chair during their travels. As their relationships with local artists deepened, they added other fair trade products from Central and South America, all made from recycled, sustainable or indigenous materials to minimize environmental impact. La Vida Verde still travels to all of the countries they we work with, building long-lasting, meaningful relationships with all of their artisans. They represent fair trade products from Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Peru and Colombia, and regularly host fundraisers for the artisans and their communities, watching the artists begin to thrive and their artist co-ops continue to grow. Each product represents the preservation of local culture and their traditional art forms.
