Can I buy Gaiam eGift Certificates?
Click here to order a Gaiam Gift Certificate online or you can order a Gaiam paper gift certificate to be sent by FedEx Ground by calling our ordering line at 1-877-989-6321.
 
Can I use my Gaiam paper Gift Certificates as a form of payment?
Yes. If you are making your purchase online, you may redeem your gift certificate for payment by entering the gift certificate number at the payment information page during step 3 of the checkout process. You may redeem more than one gift certificate per order. Gift certificates can only be used once and once redeemed will no longer be valid. If there is a remaining balance for any unused portion of your gift certificate the remaining balance will be issued to you in the form of a check by mail.

What is the delivery time to Alaska, Hawaii and the U.S. Territories?
The standard delivery time via USPS is 7-10 business days.

What is the delivery time to an APO/FPO address?
Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive a shipment to an APO or FPO address.
 
Can I purchase an item online that is currently on backorder?
Yes, you can order a backordered item. We will not charge you for it until it is shipped.

Can I purchase items for delivery outside of the U.S.?
At this time we only ship to the United States and its territories and to Canada. For orders to Canada please call 1-800-482-3747 for details and to place your order.
 
How will my order be packaged?
In keeping with our mission to clean up the planet, we reuse boxes and packing materials that come into our warehouse and use new boxes and mailing envelopes made of up to 100% recycled material. We use clean waste paper collected from local sources and 100% natural, corn-based, biodegradable "peanuts" to help protect your order during shipping.
 
Why do you charge oversize shipping?
Because some large items are bulky and heavy, our cost to ship them is higher than for other items. Therefore, we have added a delivery surcharge; this charge is stated in the product's description and is in addition to regular delivery charges.

Do you charge taxes?
Yes, we charge sales tax for orders shipping to Colorado, Ohio and New York.
This will automatically be added to your order.
 
How do I redeem a coupon or promotional offer?
Any promotional offer code should be entered at the shopping cart in the Promotion Code / Catalog Key Code box at the top of the page or at Step 1: Billing of the checkout process in the Promotion Code / Catalog Key Code box located to the right side of the page.  Gift coupon codes are entered in the gift certificate box on the payment information page at step 3 of the checkout process. How do I redeem an offer from a Gaiam catalog?
Gaiam catalog offers are redeemed by entering the catalog keycode exactly as printed on the address label on your catalog at the shopping cart page in the Promotion Code / Catalog Key Code box at the top of the page or at Step 1: Billing of the checkout process in the Promotion Code / Catalog Key Code box located to the right side of the page.
 
How do I send items to multiple addresses?
You will have the opportunity to enter shipping addresses at the checkout. A separate shipping and handling charge is applied for each shipment to a different address.
 
What payment options are available?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
You may also send us an order by mail with a check or money order.

Returns

What is your return policy?
Gaiam wants you to be 100% happy with your purchase experience. We hope you love everything you receive from us, but if you’re less than 100% satisfied, you may return or exchange any item at any time for any reason.

We want to make it right for you, as quickly and easily as possible.
 
How do I return an item?
Please note the following instructions to help us quickly process your return:
 

Step 1
Fill out the return info on the back of your order form.
Can’t find your order form? Download a copy of the return form.

Step 2
Option 1 | Use your preprinted SmartLabelTM to return the order.
Peel and stick the label (found on the front of your order form) to your box, then drop it in the mail. Return shipping will be automatically deducted from your refund. See the chart below for costs. Many customers find this is the most convenient, inexpensive option.

If we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged, return shipping’s on us!


No longer have your original preprinted SmartLabel form?  Print a new return label.

You can also track your return via SmartLabel.

Please note: Not all orders will be eligible for return by SmartLabel. This generally applies to heavy or bulky items, or items that may ship directly from the manufacturer. If your order is not eligible there will be no SmartLabel provided on the order receipt. In this instance please use option 2.

Option 2 | Return the order yourself via USPS, FedEx or any other traceable method.

Where should I take my return? If you purchased a Gaiam product at a retail location and need to return or exchange, please take it to the store where it was originally purchased. The address above is only for returns and exchanges of products purchased from our website or one of our catalogs.

Catalog and Internet returns must be returned by mail to the address above. We are unable to process web or catalog purchases at retail stores.

How long will it take for me to receive credit? Please allow 14 days for us to receive and process your return. We’ll credit or refund the value of the items returned and any taxes you were charged less the original shipping charges and SmartLabel return charge, if you choose this option. Credit card adjustments should appear within two billing cycles.

How can I track my return? If you used SmartLabel for your return you can track your package here. Your Gaiam order number will be required to track via this method. If you have an email address on file with us you will be also be notified when your credit is issued. If you provided an email address with your order, you will be notified when your return has been received and processed.

International Ordering

How do I place an order outside the U.S. and Canada?
Delivery to international addresses is not currently available on Gaiam.com. Currently we are only able to ship to the United States and its territories via Gaiam.com. We can fulfill any Canadian orders through our toll-free customer service line 1-800-482-3747.

How do I place an order shipping to Canada?
Placing orders shipping to Canada is not available on Gaiam.com at this time. You may call us toll-free at 1-800-482-3747 to place an order shipping to Canada.

What are my shipping options to Canada?
At this time, the only shipping option for orders to Canada is Parcel Post International mail. Delivery time is 2-3 weeks.

What are your shipping and handling charges for Canadian orders?
Our shipping costs to Canada depend on the weight of the order. Please call us toll-free at 1-800-482-3747 for shipping quotes and other information or to place your order shipping to Canada.

How much duty is charged on Canadian orders? How much tax will I be charged on Canadian orders?
Duties and taxes are assessed by Canadian customs. We cannot tell you in advance what these fees might be nor due we assume any responsibility for these fees. You will be responsible for these fees and notified at the time of delivery the amount due.

Coupons/Promotional Codes/Key Codes/Source Codes

How do I redeem a coupon code/promotional code/key code/source code when placing an order online?

To redeem a Gaiam gift coupon please enter the coupon number as printed on your coupon in the gift certificate box on the payment information page at step 3 of the checkout process. Multiple coupons may be used on the same order and may be used in conjunction with promotional offers. Unlike gift certificates, any unused balance of a Gaiam gift coupon will be forfeited.

To redeem a promotional offer code/key code/source code received from a Gaiam catalog, Gaiam email promotion or other Gaiam affiliated source you may enter the promotional offer code at either Catalog Quick Shop step 2 (in the Catalog Key Code/Web Code box) for those that have exact item numbers available such as catalog shoppers or you may enter your promotional offer code in the Promotion Code / Catalog Key Code box on the shopping cart page after you have added items to your shopping cart. After entering your offer code click the "update" button to the right of the box and your promotional offer will be applied as long as all conditions of the offer are satisfied.

Please enter your catalog key code or web promotional offer code exactly as stated from the source. You must meet all conditions of the offer in order to receive the promotion. You may only apply one promotional code per order as promotional offers cannot be combined or applied to previous orders.

Promotional offers are not valid on Go Zero tree donations, select renewable energy items or Gift Certificates unless expressly implied. Some sale items may not be eligible for additional discounts above and beyond a listed sale price. Shipping offers are only valid for the first contiguous U.S. shipping address on your order and regular shipping charges are applied to any additional addresses thereafter. Oversized and expedited shipping charges still apply to all orders unless expressly implied. Other restrictions may apply.
