Marketing Traffi-cer Position

WORKING TITLE: Marketing Traffic-er

SUPERVISOR: VP Sales and Marketing Gaiam Direct

1. JOB SUMMARY:
   
   The Marketing Traffic-er is charged with these key job functions:
   1. Customer Panel Administration
   2. Management of E-Mail Calendar
   3. Management of asset tracking cross-functionally
   4. Coordination of Gaiam Life content
   5. Coordination of Talent launches
   6. PR administration
   7. Management of Master Marketing Calendar
   
   

   While reporting to the VP Sales and Marketing, the Marketing Traffic-er will work with all Marketing Managers to ensure integrated efforts. Key to this role is administration of the customer panel and feeding customer information to stakeholders, across segments, to ensure customer driven outcomes.




2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
   
   
   • Maintain Project Tracker for keeping all email projects and web projects on track
   • Supporting updates to the MMC
   • Maintenance and communication of Email Marketing Calendar for all businesses
   • Traffic assets and deliverables for all Businesses
   • Ex: Coordinating Fair Trade photos, arranging interviews with artisans, readers, users
   • Coordinate contest, game, sweeps, event rules, requirements and tasks
   • Coordinate, plan, traffic Direct integrated efforts with Trade Point person with Trade/talent for all talent approvals, routings, revisions — including dealing with logistics of getting the right file formats to them and resending once revisions are in place
   • Create and maintain marketing plans / flowcharts, tracking documents, launch schedules
   • Write workorders and traffic workorder approval/delivery to Creative dept.
   • Liaison to Creative dept. traffic manager ... ensure that projects are staying on track day to day, chase down details/files/photos Creative needs to do the work
   • Facilitate, expedite, monitor and track product sampling, respond to urgent requests
   • Share product placement examples with Customer Service and support scripting
   • Populate MMC and Product Placement Reporting

   Additionally, the marketing analyst would handle project work such as:
   
   Customer Panel -- Managing all logistics for re-vitalization and gaining feedback from them, both through live interactions and surveys




3. SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
   
   
   • College education
   • 2 years experience in marketing roles
   • Web 2.0 technologies
   • Excellent administration and project management skills, including project management software use
